Volunteer Orientation/Information

To ensure the best camp experience possible, Promise 139 has instituted an orientation and safety policy for all volunteers. If you are planning to come be part of the Promise 139 Christmas Camp as a volunteer, please review the Volunteer Information Sheet. This information sheet contains a few essential details/policies regarding camp that all volunteers need to know and follow. AS AN ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RECEIVING THIS INFORMATION SHEET, PLEASE SIGN AND RETURN A COPY BY MAIL TO THE ADDRESS BELOW OR BRING A SIGNED COPY TO WITH YOU TO YOUR FIRST CAMP EVENT.

Promise 139 has a policy requiring criminal background checks and completed volunteer applications (including references) for all volunteers. Below are the Criminal Background Authorization Form and the Promise 139 Volunteer Application. Both of these forms must be COMPLETED FULLY, SIGNED, AND RETURNED TO PROMISE 139 before you can be cleared to volunteer.(If you have completed a background check through Temple Baptist Church, you may sign and return the release form below allowing Promise 139 access to that clearance in lieu of completing an additional background check.) If you have completed an application and clearance in the past for Promise 139, you do not need to complete the forms again. Completed forms should be mailed to:

All approved volunteers will be given a nametag/identification acknowledging his/her completion of the volunteer orientation process. Thank you for your help with this process! It is our goal to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all of our guests.
